The key to getting what you want, when you want it.
If used correctly Goal Setting can be your key to success. However, there a few important points to understand first. Here they are:
1. Be careful what to ask for...in other words think about what you really want. Be painfully specific and if at all possible, see it in your mind's eye.
2. Write it down! Write it down! Write it down!
3. Internalize it, emotionalize your specific goals over and over again. Remind yourself daily about what you want and when you will have it. Actually, remind yourself many times every day until your goal is realized.
4. Test each goal for validity. Is it realistic? Can you achieve it in the defined timeframe? What steps do you need to take to make it happen.
5. Treat goal setting the same way you would plan a war or coach a team to a championship...every detail as you discover them must be tested and written down.
6. Make room for it. If the truck is full, it's full and the only way to get your box onboard is to take one off first.
7. Find positive people to help you. That's not to say they'll do all the work, becasue they won't.
8. Read your goals allowed 2-3 times a day as if you had already achieved them.
9. Meditate, relax and visualise your life after your goal have been achieved. The more vivid, the better.
